2 Parks 1 day, How to Do Disneyland Paris on a Time Constraint
Disneyland Paris
I’ve been to Disneyland Paris twice. The first time with my friend Cassie Leffel in the middle of January...
...and the then this trip. The trips were two different extremes in temperatures, one being 45 degrees and wearing a winter jacket, the second being 90 degrees and sweating profusely the entire day. While both were enjoyable, I almost would prefer the colder weather since the crowds are typically less. Though neither season was nearly as busy as Walt Disney World in Orlando ever gets.
I have a goal on my bucket list to visit every Disney park in the world. I am 3/6 of the way there.
The parks include:
Disneyland California (original)
Walt Disney World in Orlando
Disneyland Paris
Shanghai Disney Resort
Hong Kong Disneyland
Tokyo Disney Resort
The most important part for myself when visiting the parks is to get to try the things that are different than my home park (WDW Orlando). Both times I visited I only had one day to explore two parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. The first time I wasn’t sure if I’d be back and I hadn’t done much prep on the parks except for looking at the rides they offered and knowing which ones didn’t exist in WDW. Cassie and I rode those ones first as a precaution. The second time I was able to ride some things I didn’t ride before that I knew were similar to WDW or at least had the same name.
For anyone wanting to go to Disneyland Paris and ride unique rides I would recommend the following:
Walt Disney Studios Park:
Crush's Coaster
Crush's Coaster is a roller coaster starring Crush from Finding Nemo where you ride the EAC and much more when he takes you on an adventure in the big blue.
Ratatouille: The Adventure
You are shrunken down into the size of a rat and help Remy and the gang prepare dinner while avoiding the humans. It does involve 3-D glasses so the motion sick people may want to opt out.
Disneyland Park:
Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains (Snow White)
I believe this is like the one that used to be in Magic Kingdom in Orlando before it was changed. I am not old enough to remember the WDW ride but the Disneyland Paris attraction takes you through Snow White's journey and escape with the help of the 7 dwarves.
Pinocchio
The Voyage of Pinocchio is the same ride style as Snow White but tells the story of Pinocchio.
Alice's Curious Labyrinth
Alice's Curious Labyrinth is a walk through attraction where you try to find you way out of the maze. At the end of the maze is the Queen of Hearts castle that you can walk through. It provides great photo opportunities of all of Fantasyland and the back side of Sleeping Beauty's castle.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril
Indiana Jones is a roller coaster that is a run away wagon and takes you through the ruins of the mysterious jungle. It even goes upside down
Some to avoid or are very similar to WDW are as follows:
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Rock 'N' Roller Coaster is the exact same...
"it's a Small World"
The ride is half in French but pretty much the same.
Don't Miss!: Disney's Stars on Parade and the Illuminations Firework Show
Disneyland Paris is celebrating 25 years of Disneyland Paris! The parade is super cute and even has some hints of Festival of Fantasy in it from Walt Disney World. Does the first one look familiar? The Illuminations Fireworks Show is similar to Happily Ever After at Walt Disney World with the projection show on the castle and the fireworks.
