Donald's Dino-Bash Celebration at Animal Kingdom
Surprise!
Scientists recently discovered that ducks are related to dinosaurs. So of course Donald Duck had to celebrate this new discovery with all his friends in Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom all summer long. Maria and I stopped by to celebrate with the gang this weekend for a fun filled afternoon of meet and greets and dancing!
The whole gang was invited, including Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Scrooge, to the celebration and they all wore their dino-best for the occasion. Here is the list of when to meet everyone!
First up: Donald
Which one of your new cousins scares you the most? The T-rex
Just look at that hat!
2nd stop: Pluto
Hey Pluto, what type of tool does a T-rex carpenter use? A dino-saw!
Honestly it was so hot, we were all panting in that dinosaur bone yard
3rd stop: Goofy
Okay so we found out that Donald is related to dinosaurs, but when are we ever going to find out why they are both dogs but Pluto is a pet and Goofy gets to talk and own his own house?
Anyway, moving on. The gang was celebrating Donald's big news but some people felt a little left out. So my boys Chip n' Dale decided they would dress up as dinosaurs and sneak into the party. Perfect idea!
I want that purple stegosaurus onesie!
They even decided to head to the dance floor for the Dino-riffic Dance Party
As usual, I took the opportunity to stop by the rest of Dinoland to take some pictures as well.
"I have a big head and little arms, I'm not so sure you thought this one through" - name that movie
Welcome to Diggs County
Spending the afternoon with everyone was so much fun! I love that Disney never runs out of things to do. This summer includes the Incredibles Dance Party at Magic Kingdom, Donald's Dino-Bash at Animal Kingdom, the new Toy Story land opening up in Hollywood Studios June 30th and the Guardians of the Galaxy - Awesome Mix Live at Epcot. All of Disney is celebrating this "Incredible Summer" and I am happy knowing that I get to be a part of it.
P.S. Thank you to my wonderful best friend Maria for all the pictures!
